Here at Sail Grenadines we understand that planning travel can be stressful and therefore try to give you as much assistance as possible. And remember :

COVID Cleaning Checks and Protocols are in place on every boat we charter.

Captains and Staff are Tested prior to guests boarding

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines hasn’t had a lock down and everything is open.

We have travelled from Europe and back during Covid 19 – ask us if you have questions!

ADD RENTALS & PROVISIONS

Let us maximize your holiday by stocking your yacht with extra amenities Please fill out our rental and provision sheets and send back three weeks prior to your charter.

ARRIVAL & TRANSPORTATION

You will be greeted by our representative with a Sail Grenadines sign and shown to your transfer. We are happy to arrange private flights, taxis, water taxis or minibuses as required.

ARRIVAL AT SAIL GRENADINES BASE

On arrival at base you will be greeted by a friendly face and shown to your yacht or catamaran for a welcome drink and introduction. If arriving into St Vincent our base team will be there to meet you.

ON-SITE DETAILS

Bareboat Charter Captains are required to sign a security deposit form and pay for any last minute provisioning. Once this is completed you can have a detailed boat handover and route advice.
Crewed Charter Guests just need to relax!

ORIENTATION & ROUTE ASSISTANCE

On arrival the captain will open up a chart and offer suggestions on where to go and recommendations for activities and itineraries for your trip.

LAST MINUTE SUPPLIES

If you haev any last minute questions or requests, restaurant bookings or diving arrangements, our local sales team in Bequia are at hand to help.

BAREBOAT YACHT HANDOVER

You will have a thorough safety and equipment briefing on board your yacht or catamaran. We use a comprehensive checklist to ensure nothing is missed.

OFF YOU GO!

Most of our yachts will be in Bequia on the first evening where we reserve space on a mooring and can help you moor the yacht if needed.

MOORING AND REEFING PRACTICE

For Bareboat Charterers, a free 1 hr session is offered on arrival. Lots of our guests who haven’t sailed the Caribbean benefit from this to ensure they are happy and confident on their yacht.

EXPLORE ON YOUR WAY TO THE SECOND NIGHT DESTINATION

We can help advise where to sail next, book restaurants and call your next destination in advance so someone is there to meet you.

EXPLORE FOR 7 NIGHTS AWAY FROM BASE

Subject to arrival and departure times, yachts spend the full 7 days sailing or more!

THE LAST EVENING

We do not require that our boats return to the dock on the last evening. Take a mooring buoy and extend your holiday a little more! Our staff will meet you 2 hrs before check out to finalise any fuel, water, or final charter payments. Fuel and water is completed by a boat coming alongside your yacht – everything is made easy!
