BAREBOAT LONG TERM CHARTER : Sail Grenadines now offers a small selection of yachts and catamarans for long term charters. Choose to do a one way sail from one end of the Caribbean to the other or start in the middle and extend your horizons! Boats are available with or without crew however for less experienced sailors, a captain is recommended initially to gain further experience and knowledge. And dont worry, we have contacts throughout the Caribbean Island chain so if you have any questions during your trip we will be able to help.
CREWED LONG TERM CHARTER: These holidays are ideal for persons thinking of buying a boat but not ready to take the leap. Try sailing with our experienced crews and learn the good and the bad. Gain valuable experience before doing it yourself! Or, maybe you dont ever intend to purchase and just want to move your office remote or have valuable time away with your family for an extended period. Whatever the reason, we may have a good suggestion!
The Caribbean Island Chain extends a long way! Sails between islands are typically 4 – 5 hrs however once in the popular sailing areas, distances can reduce to 1 – 2hrs. You can see a different island every few days and really appreciate the full Caribbean Experience. We recommend a north to south route in the winter months due to the prevailing winds. If you prefer to sail north we recommend sailing between October – December or April – June as this is when the winds are lighter and the sea state generally better.
