Bareboat Charter
You provide the skipper and crew. We provide the yacht.

Bareboat Yacht Charter

Explore The Grenadines at Your Own Pace

This option is great for qualified sailors who want to skipper their own yacht or catamaran in the Caribbean. We operate a great selection of yachts and catamarans. Enjoy snorkeling with turtles, tuck into delicious lobster BBQs and explore hidden treasures of the Grenadines – all from the comfort of your private sailing yacht or catamaran. Take advantage of our detailed briefing, local knowledge and top tips at the start of your holiday then explore the beautiful Grenadine islands at leisure.

Catamarans for bareboat charter range from our Nautitech 40 LITTLE WING, our Lagoon 45s (both Spar Top and Flybridge versions available) and our NEW Lagoon 46 and NEW Dufour Catamaran 48ft.  All equipped to the highest standards.

How does it work?

At least one person in your party must be qualified and experienced enough to handle the yacht safely and competently (minimum RYA Day Skipper or hold an ICC or ASA qualification – send us your resume if you don’t hold a certificate and we can advise if you still are able to charter with us). You will be fully briefed on the yacht and given advice on the sailing area prior to your departure.

Charters generally start and finish in Bequia, which is ideally positioned to explore the Grenadines. A seven day trip is ideal and ten days allows you to explore the immediate area at a much more leisurely pace. On a longer trip you can travel to St Lucia and beyond in the North and Grenada in the South.

One way trips are also available which can sometimes match well with international flights. There will be a charge to position your yacht at the start and end of the trip outside of low season.

ONE WAY SAILS ARE AVAILABLE BETWEEN MARTINIQUE, ST LUCIA, ST VINCENT and the Grenadines, and GRENADA

OPTIONAL SERVICES: Fishing Equipment hire, Kayak Hire, Provisioning, Diving, Adventure Activities and Tours

Required Experience

RYA Day Skipper Practical

The skipper must hold a Skipper Certification which is usually a minimum of an RYA Day Skipper or an International Certificate of Competence. ASA Certification *with additional experience, is generally accepted. If unsure, please send us a resume for checking.

If you haven’t sailed in the area before or feel a refresher for yourself or crew, then our Assisted Sailing program is perfect.
