Here at Sail Ionian we understand that planning travel can be stressful and therefore try to give you as much assistance as possible.
You will be greeted by our representative or a taxi driver with a Sail Ionian sign and shown to your transfer.
We’d be happy to arrange transportation in a luxurious air conditioned taxi.
On arrival at base you will be greeted by a friendly face and shown to your yacht, which we try our hardest to ensure is ready for your arrival.
Pop to the office to fill in your official documents which we will need to take to the port police to get authorised and return to you as soon as possible, usually by the time you have finished your boat handover.
We spend time individually with each group on arrival, open up a chart and offer suggestions on where to go. We also discuss the weather for the week. Advice is available on bays and harbours, lively or quiet, the choice is yours. We can also advise on recommended tavernas.
On your way to the Cafe why not call in the Quay Yacht Supplies to collect any masks and snorkels you might want for your holiday, organise a paddleboard, pick up pre-ordered provisioning or just shop for a souvenir.
We run through your yacht in detail and ensure you understand how all the on board systems and equipment works. We use a comprehensive checklist to ensure nothing is missed.
Most of our yachts sail to Meganisi on the first evening where we reserve space on a pontoon and help you moor the yacht. We can offer assistance if you wish.
A free parking session is offered on a Monday morning, lots of our guests have not parked in the Mediterranean way and we like to ensure you are happy and confident on your yacht.
We save space for our yachts in Sivota on a Monday night if you would like a hand at the end of your first full day.
Subject to arrival and departure times, yachts spend the full 7 nights away from base.
We have a free last night’s drinks party which is very popular and lets you exchange the stories of the week.
